Bus Variance Blackout Dates



BUS VARIANCE BLACKOUT DATES FOR FALL 2026

This is a reminder that Bus Transportation Variances DO NOT carry over from year to year. A new variance must be completed each school year. If you require your child to ride a different bus other than their home bus route for the 26/27 school year you must complete a new variance form. 

• This means, parents who need to send their child via bus to/from daycare, babysitters, etc. during the 26/27 school year, must submit a Transportation Variance to the St. Robert School office no later than Monday, August 3, 2026 to be approved and in effect for the first day of busing (8/24).

Variances not turned in to the school office by the Monday, August 3rd deadline will be put on “hold” until Tuesday, September 8, 2026 as bus routes become finalized.

• Variances turned in after the August 3rd deadline will not be processed until Tuesday, September 8th. Your child will be allowed only on their home bus route during the blackout period. 

Also, please note that any 26/27 bus variance forms received on September 8th or later require a processing time of 5 business days prior to the variance taking effect. Variance forms can be obtained through the St. Robert School website. Please contact the school office if you have any questions.
