Forming Children in Faith

At St. Robert, religious formation invites children to know Jesus, grow in their Catholic faith, and deepen their relationship with God. Through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, children encounter Scripture, prayer, and the liturgy in a peaceful, hands-on environment created especially for them.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-based approach to the religious formation of children, rooted in Sacred Scripture and the Liturgy of the Catholic Church. Children gather in a specially prepared environment called the Atrium, where they encounter God through prayer, Scripture, meaningful work, and quiet reflection.

St. Robert School students visit the Atrium weekly during the school year. Religious Education students participate in evening sessions once each week.
